Thank you for reserving a time to bring your special household wastes to the H-MRF.

If you provided an e-mail address, an e-mail confirming the date and time of your scheduled appointment has been sent. Additionally, you will receive a reminder by e-mail a couple of days prior to your scheduled appointment.

If you received a warning during the reservation process that a fee will be assessed upon arrival at the facility, be sure to bring a credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover) in addition to your photo ID. Cash and checks will not be accepted.

Please note that only four file boxes (10" x 12" x 15") of personal documents will be accepted per appointment. The shredder has a limited capacity. Residents that show up with excess documents delay other appointments. Documents from businesses (as from doctor offices or accounting firms) will be rejected, along with documents from residents that are not on white office paper (i.e., junk mail or store circulars).

In severe weather when working conditions are deemed unsafe, appointments will be cancelled. To verify if the facility has closed due to inclement weather conditions, call (914) 813-5425. We recommend you bookmark the page. You may also receive a cancellation e-mail under these circumstances.
