beveragecartonsAs of April 25, 2016, residents can now include food and beverage cartons with their commingled recyclables (metal, glass, and plastic recyclables) for collection by their refuse hauler. Recyclable cartons include both refrigerated "gable-top" and shelf-stable aseptic cartons often used to contain milk, juice, cream, egg substitutes, non-dairy milk beverages, soup and broth.

Although they mainly consist of paper fiber, the cartons should be placed with other recyclable containers made of metal, glass, and plastic for collection; they should not be included with paper and cardboard recyclables.
